On paper, a chorus manager serves at the pleasure of the board and is tasked with managing the organization according to the strategic direction set by the board. But how this plays out day to day has a lot to do with communication, rapport, mutual respect and knowing when to weigh in (or keep out). A panel of three seasoned managers—who also have each served on nonprofit boards—will share their tips for what can make this key relationships work well.
