Position:

St. Maries Choral Arts, a choir music organization in Southern Maryland, seeks a dynamic and creative Conductor and Artistic Director to continue its long tradition of providing creative musical entertainment in our tri-county communities (St. Mary’s, Calvert and St. Charles counties). There are two adult choirs, St. Maries Musica, an auditioned choir, and St. Maries Chorale, a community choir. This is a paid position.

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead all scheduled rehearsals.

Select the membership of St. Maries Musica by audition in collaboration with the Audition Committee.

Select music to be performed by St. Maries Musica and St. Maries Chorale in collaboration with the Music Advisory Committee.

Assist the Executive Board and its committee structure with on-going business.
