Three Generations of Master and Emerging American Composers

The final concert of Choral Arts' season features music Made in America. American choral music reflects the rich diversity of the United States featuring distinct and varied elements, eclectic sources, and a vast range of styles. Experience the Choral Arts Chorus, The Washington Chorus, Children's Chorus of Washington, and the Great Noise Ensemble performing three generations of master and emerging American choral composers from Leonard Bernstein's Mass (Concert Version) to a World Premiere Commission by Armando Bayolo.

Made in America is the opening night concert of the annual conference of Chorus America and is part of Voices of our Nation, the Kennedy Center's week-long celebration of the choral tradition.
