Megan Flynn

Programs and Membership Intern

Megan Flynn is from Gaithersburg, Maryland, and a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she is pursuing a dual degree in Vocal Performance and French. This coming semester, she will be participating in the Maryland Opera Studio’s production of Florencia en el Amazonas, and UMD Concert Choir’s collaboration with the BSO in Orff’s Carmina Burana. Last semester she had the chance to perform with the UMD Concert Choir in Handel’s Messiah at the Kennedy Center!

In addition to being in the concert choir at UMD, she is also a choral intern for UMD Choral Activities, a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a music fraternity, and part of Voix de Chanson, a student-run treble choir.

Megan loves to travel and had the opportunity to study abroad at the Université Côte d'Azur in Nice, France last spring! During study abroad, she was able to visit Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and different parts of France, leaving Germany and Japan at the top of her bucket list. She also likes to learn new languages in my free time, currently trying to learn some German. She enjoys reading, baking, and recently got into puzzles over winter break! She is always happy to talk about books, especially fantasy, romantasy, and listening to memoirs on audio.
