Change is the only constant in this world. This session is designed to engage board members as well as artistic and administrative staff in navigating executive and artistic leadership transitions. We will review the full transition cycle, which includes onboarding, orienting, maintaining, revising and updating, offboarding, and hiring. Session attendees will leave with a strong working understanding of this cycle and how to prepare for each stage in a way that maintains organizational continuity. Additionally, participants will leave with an understanding of the best practices for announcing transitions and communicating changes to key stakeholders.
