While choral music leaders are working on centering racial equity and ADEI work in their organizations, many funders are reimagining how philanthropy can work for their communities by centering the experiences of those marginalized by race. In this session, we will hear from arts funders from across the country who are exploring new ways of collaborating with their communities and how they are reimagining decision-making models, power-sharing, and the funder-grantee relationship.
