Job title: Program Director - Part-time Chorus/organization name: Trenton Children's Chorus Category: Administrative Duties and responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations including rehearsals, concerts, performances, trips and camps; oversee volunteer coordinator, assist with volunteer recruitment and communication; oversee non-musical staff; manage summer camp opportunities; manage scholarship opportunities; assist with grant reporting as needed; manage recruitment in collaboration with the Artistic Director; cultivate collaborative partners for joint endeavors and performances; oversee community PR efforts in cooperation with the Artistic Director and Board; organize payables and submit payroll; prepare and manage the budget. Requirements: Strong communication skills; initiative and resourcefulness; ability to work effectively with members of the Board and various Board committees; ability to work closely with and as an equal partner and collaborator with the Artistic Director; ability to plan, organize and maintain attention to quality and detail while performing multiple tasks, basic familiarity with music, choirs, concers/performances. Compensation: Part-time (ca.20 hrs/week),12-month position. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience. Benefits: Negotiable. Chorus/organization description: The Trenton Children's Chorus offers children and youth from kindergarten to high school age the chance to sing a wide range of choral literature, especially children who might not otherwise have an opportunity to do so; and provides a way for children and youth from different backgrounds to get to know one another through artistic endeavor.
