Duties and responsibilities: Located at the head of Wall Street, Trinity Church has been part of New York City’s and our nation’s history since its charter in 1697. Today, the organization has grown to include many important areas of focus and is collectively known as Trinity Wall Street. Most importantly, we are an Episcopal parish offering daily worship services and faith formation programs at Trinity Church, St. Paul’s Chapel, and online at trinitywallstreet.org. In addition, Trinity Wall Street includes Trinity Real Estate, which manages the parish’s six million square feet of commercial real estate in lower Manhattan; Trinity Grants; John Heuss House, a twenty-four hour drop-in shelter; St. Margaret’s House, providing subsidized housing to the elderly; Trinity Preschool; Trinity Institute, an annual theological conference; Trinity Archives, where records of long-term value are organized, preserved, and maintained; and an extensive arts program presenting more than 100 concerts each year through Concerts @ One, the Trinity Choir, and the Downtown Youth Choir. We are seeking a Program Administrator to work with the Director to coordinate with staff and parishioners to assist with event management, site logistics, and concert production. This position will be accountable for providing administrative support services for the range of activities that support the Downtown Youth Chorus, the Trinity Choristers, and the ongoing work of the “Music and Arts Hub”. While position will report to the Director, it will also be to support the work of Hub team members in their work in the Hub. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Administration for Music and Arts Hub (ongoing work group) • Organize logistics and provide hospitality for weekly meetings and other events, as necessary • Research, gather and prepare materials for Hub Leader and team review, as needed • Provide administrative support to Hub team in preparing for program development and planning, e.g., assembling documentation, preparing reports and submission material, and conducting market research • Assist Hub Leader and team members in budget preparation and tracking. Administration for the Downtown Youth Chorus and Trinity Choristers: • Manage registration and orientation for new choral participants. • Assist Director in creating rosters for concerts and distributing schedules and seating plans for rehearsals and performances. • Assist Director in the development of study CDs and distribution of scores to all choral group members • Prepare budget documents, track budget expenses throughout the fiscal year, and assist Director in making adjustments • Assist the Director with administrative correspondence, score acquisition and maintenance, travel arrangements and other administrative duties upon request • Organize and maintain choral library for community music • Assist Director in development of policies, and administer approved procedures and practices.

Requirements: REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: • Strong organizational, planning and project management skills • Ability to manage high volume of detail in a fast paced environment • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, pitch in, creatively solve problems, and proactively participate in moving projects forward • Strong people skills, including ability to work with conductors and with large group of volunteers • Computer and database skills essential; MS Office expertise required • Demonstrated commitment to community outreach through music and arts, locally and globally • Undergraduate degree. Minimum 5 years work experience • Available to attend scheduled evening meetings; some overtime required, some weekends including Sundays • Experience in arts administration required; Ability to read music preferred
