The Nebraska Choral Arts Society (NCAS) was founded in 1978 by Dr. Thomas A. Brantigan, former music director of Dundee Presbyterian Church. The organization was formed as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the performance of great choral and choral-orchestral music. Today, NCAS has nearly 400 singers in eight choirs. Over time, the number of singers has changed, but the mission has remained the same. The choirs of NCAS perform a full season of concerts throughout the year, as well as participating in many community events. All choirs tour regionally and several choirs tour both nationally and internationally as well.
