Date Range
-
Session Type
Session

As choruses expand their repertoire to more intentionally include music from other cultures, they often find themselves working with, or wishing to work with, culture bearers who can help guide them in authentically and respectfully bringing the music to life. This panel, featuring two such partnerships, will discuss important aspects of this work and how choirs and conductors can facilitate ways to connect the broader community to music by giving empowered performances based on meaningful collaboration.
